Ocone Lee is a small, independent product-research and design studio.
We develop our own original products across home decor, kitchen, bathroom, lighting, and gifting. Our work is split between two things: studying where consumer interest is heading, and turning the clearest of those signals into products we design, source, and bring to market ourselves. To do the first part well, we read aggregate market-trend data — what categories are rising, which seasonal themes are gaining attention, how demand shifts over time — so that the pieces we invest in developing are the ones people are already reaching for, rather than guesses. Everything we make is our own product; we are not a marketplace, a reseller, or an advertising service.

How we use the Pinterest API
Aggregate trends only — never personal data
Our internal research tool, hermes-research, uses the Pinterest API strictly to study aggregate market-trend data: the relative popularity and seasonality of home, kitchen, bathroom, lighting, and gift themes across time. This helps us decide which categories are worth designing into.
We do not collect, request, store, or process any individual Pinterest user's personal data, profile, boards, or Pins. We do not connect to or read from personal accounts, and we do not identify or target individual users. Our interest is only in high-level, anonymized trend patterns.
How we work
- Read the signal. We track aggregate trend and demand data to see which home & living themes are genuinely rising.
- Design our own product. We concept, prototype, and refine original pieces in-house — nothing off-the-shelf.
- Source and launch responsibly. We produce in small, deliberate runs and stand behind what we ship.
